How To Guide
Cook Food - Take selected food and cook until soft and tender.
Puree Food - Place cooked food in a food processor and puree until a smooth, thick, lump free consistency achieved. Add food thickener to ensure food mold maintains its new form once r removed from its mold and is reheated.
Place Food in Mold - Using a dough spatula to evenly distrubute
pureed food throughout the individual mold shapes.
Freeze - Cover mold tray with mold lid and place in the freezer
for minumum of 2 hours to set.
Remove From Mold - Take mold tray out of freezer and place on
a bench for a couple of minutes at room temperature. Turn mold tray
over and apply gentle pressure to release frozen food from mold.
Thaw - Place frozen food molds directly on to plates or a tray lined
with greased baking paper and allow to thaw overnight in refrigerator
Heat & Serve - Place molded food into either:
- bain marie
- microwave or
Heat gently until food temperature greater than 70°C or 165°F
